Unfortunately, no. Insurance will not cover due to the longer sessions.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps your brain heal from painful memories and experiences. When something upsetting happens, your brain can get “stuck,” making those memories feel just as intense as when they first happened. EMDR uses guided eye movements or other forms of gentle stimulation to help your brain reprocess these memories, so they feel less overwhelming and more like part of your past. This allows you to reflect on difficult experiences without being overwhelmed by them.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can help you feel more at ease with your past, so it no longer feels like it’s running your life. It gently guides your brain to process painful memories in a way that helps them lose their intensity, so you can feel calmer and safer. Many people find they feel lighter, more in control, and more hopeful as they move through the process. EMDR makes it easier to move forward and enjoy life with more peace. You can begin to feel like you again.
-
Absolutely! EMDR sessions can be done on-line for anyone throughout Texas, or we can meet in-person in my office in Corpus Christi, TX. Many people prefer to meet online from the comfort of their own homes, while others enjoy the privacy and connection of being in the same room together. It depends on your comfort level and what works best for you.

Click below to book a 20-minute consultation. Share with me a little bit about what you are experiencing and what you are hoping to gain in therapy. I would love to share how I can help you heal and live a life full of meaning and joy.

The office does not provide emergency or 24-hour support, meaning this may not be the right service if you are actively in crisis. If we determine during your consultation that it may not be the best fit, I will provide you with a referral who may better support you.
